1. What is your pension capacity?
We have capacity of 70 beds, but in case that we are full, we offer you good accomodation in our neighbourhood, in center of Medjugorje.
2. How do I get to Medjugorje?
If you are coming by plane, you will have to fly to one of the airports: Split, Dubrovnik or Sarajevo (rarely Zadar or Mostar). We can arrange transfer for you from airport to Medjugorje. If you are coming by ferry, then we can make reservation of ferry ticket for you and transfer from ferry port to Medjugorje.
3. What would you recommend for visiting in Medjugorje?
Three main points in Medjugorje are St. James Church, which is just across the street from our pension and agency office, Apparition Hill and Cross Hill (Krizevac). Other interesting places are Cenacolo and Mother`s Villagge with zoo. We would also recommend you excursions around Medjugorje to Mostar (Old Bridge), waterfalls Kravica, Humac museum, etc.
4. What`s the weather like in Medjugorje?
The best weather is on spring and in fall when temperatures are normal and nature is showing in all her beauty and you don`t need too warm or too thin clothes. In summer July and August are very hot, so make sure that you have enough water, hat, sun glasses and sun protection wherever you go. Winter is mild, sometimes with lots of rain, so make sure that you have warm clothes and umbrella.
5. Which money I can use?
In Medjugorje are exceptable Euro, Dollars (Canadian, USA...), croatian Kuna and bosnian Convertible Marks. You can also use debit and credit cards, and in our office we accept all kinds of those cards (American, Diners, Visa, Maestro, MasterCard).
6. Where can I eat good food?
In our pension we serve delicious, homemade, traditional food, and the meal time is whenever you want – it is up to you and your daily schedule. If you want to eat outside, there are plenty of good restaurants in whole Medjugorje which offer various traditional and international food. Whatever you choose, you want make a mistake.
